Diary - 2008 December (India)

2008-12-30 to 2009-01-08

Timo arrives

Timo came to see me and spend New Years Eve together - and brought his wife Katrin, which was unsure until the very last minute because of their children back home. We spent a perfect week in a 5-star hotel with room service, warm shower, big breakfast buffet, very nice pool and alike. Something totally new for me! :-)

New Years Eve we had quite some fun having a fancy dinner and then a dance floor on the beach. Dancing in the late hours was a little bit dangerous because all the beautiful Russian women had their bodyguards right beside them - so when I came to close, the girls were taken away :-)

Timo brought Weisswuerste (white sausages), special mustard and white beer from Germany so one day we could celebrate a real Bavarian breakfast! Thanks again Timo!!

The days we spend with pool games, riding the waves and jet skis and enjoying the good food and beer at the pool. Katrin had to fly home on the sixth because school was restarting. :-(

With Timo I spent two perfect days in Palolem and Turtle beach boogie boarding and having quite some party.

With just three hours of sleep I have to bring Timo back to the airport - it's always sad to say good bye! :-(

2008-12-22 to 2008-12-30

X-mass

Via facebook I get in contact with Caroilin again. The sister of Eoin whom I met in Nepal. We decide to meet up in Palolem and I like it there so much that I decide to move south. Eoin arrives some days later as well and we have a very nice reunion.

We spend X-mass together having a wonderful dinner on the beach with king prawns and alike! Later party included! :-)

The next days is reading, doing sports and try to avoid too much party - which we do not achieve all the time... :-)

2008-12-04 to 2008-12-21

Calangute

Doing sports and reading - that's all I do! :-) Eventually I find Lila's Cafe run by a German couple, which serves food from home and also Indian stuff in very good quality - I start having brunch there everyday. Dinner I nearly all day take in Radonda - good beef steak, perfect Spaghetti - after some months I just need different food! :-)
